LOVE FOR THE RUNWAY ♥ TILL DEATH TEAR US APART

Sorry for being late…De alguna manera si es que alguien aun lee esto siento la necesidad de disculparme por la tardanza, normalmente veo el show los viernes por la mañana si tengo tiempo y suerte. Cuando no coinciden ambas entonces programo el show para el sábado por la mañana y entonces escribo la reseña, pero en esta ocasión fueron demasiados los compromisos que tuve que atender, but finally PR season 6 episode 8 recap begins here…[CONTIENE SPOILERS]

Lats time...Los diseñadores tuvieron la tarea de hacer dos vestidos en “color azul” out of conventional fabrics with conventional designs in another conventional episode with no surprises at all. El resultado: Irina fastidio a Gordana, Nicolas dejo en claro que odia los ruffles, cutest guy cry, Everybody loves Logan y Louise “Loofah” fue enviada a casa. Honestly, I don’t think I’II miss her. There’s a wedding on the works para el grupo de diseñadores restantes…not really!!! Nueve mujeres recientemente divorciadas deciden otorgar sus no tan modernos y nada sofisticados vestidos de novia como materia prima para que nuestros diseñadores los transformen en un nuevo look para que estas mujeres puedan comenzar una nueva etapa en sus vidas. Creo que la mayoría de los fans veíamos venir este episodio que de hecho podría considerarse un “spin of” del episodio 5 de la temporada 4.

Me encanta el trabajo de edición que realiza la producción del show porque a veces es descaradamente predecible, la semana pasada Louise comenzó diciendo: “No puedo darme el lujo de estar entre los tres peores, así que de ahora en adelante voy a elaborar garments que estén a la altura de esta competencia” todo mundo sabe y puede leer entre líneas que de hecho esto es una manera de decir “Esta semana seguro estaré eliminada por tratar de estar over the top” classic !!! So for this week cutest guy dice en su primer encuentro con las camaras lo siguiente “I can’t be at the bottom I need to be extra creative and extra meticulous on this one” predictions everyone??? Of course cutest guy words actually means that he is not going to be all that and guess what he is going to be at the bottom…again!!! And isn’t he wearing his shity shirtdress from last week?

So...convert an old wedding dress into a fashionable new look, veamos cuales fueron los diseñadores que tuvieron problemas durante este reto.

Shirin hizo lo imposible para complacer a su efervescente divorcée que quería vivir sus 15 minutos de fama al más puro estilo Cher in a breef momento “she wants a short mini drees with peacok feathers !!! Shirin tuvo bastantes problemas para concentrase pero después de un abrazo reconfortante de Tim, tomo de nuevas las riendas de su máquina de coser y saco su diseño adelante sin que ninguna pluma de pavo real sintética tuviera que ser sacrificada.

Meanwihle across the workroom…Gordana tuvo su momento sentimental y finalmente el encierro y la nostalgia se apoderaron de ella. “Today is saturday so I’d be able to speak with my family” so she cry over the phone…where is Tim anyway with his magical hugs ? Me encanta el acento de Gordana, su ingles esta tan masticado que puedo entender a la perfección cada palabra que sale de su boca. El resto de las chicas no presento mayores problemas, but the boys…oh my godness!!!

BOYS TOTALLY SUCK THIS SEASON, let’s see:

10:13 AM: “My strategy is to use lees fabric as possible from the dress”
10:25 AM: “I gonna change my strategy and use the actual dress to transform it”
11:34 AM: “I don’t know which my strategy is anymore”
11:49 AM: “Now I get it, she is a divorcée and she needs a new look out of her old wedding dress” Daaaaaaaa !!!

In order to survive in this business you need to lie a lot, like when I said to my client “This outfit is so you” it actually means that it isn’t. Anyway it won’t be my favorite out fit in the world but hey, ever since I got here I wouldn’t be able to do a pretty dress, so.

“If I go home on this piece at least I know that this spoke for my design aesthetic” Wow, you need to be blind to not realize that this looks exactly like Michael kors said a “metallic garbage bag with a belt in the middle”


Logan…ohhhhh poor and HOT Logan: “By listening my client I basically got lost as a designer on this challenge” Jesus you think!!!



And now for the winner of this challenge congratulation’s to: Gordana!!! Finally some love for Gordana, I love this dress so much I think this could go to the VMA’s and totally rock it. It was a really nice transformation and her client loves it, so we are just happy for her.!!! Well done…THIS TIME!!! Ahahahahaha, I kidding I love her and she totally deserved to win…THIS TIME.

Irina ha quedado en Segundo lugar “Que le dices a eso Irina, mirá de quien te burlaste la semana pasada”!!! Y pesar de esta actitud de superioridad chocante debo reconocer que ha sido de las competidoras con mayor tenacidad durante el show.

And that’s what really counts right?

And for the bottom two, Logan and Epperosn, both give Heidi october fest moments and gave us awful designs, and poor Epp, he didn’t have a chance to get in, not in a hundred years in American television, proving that Logan didn’t need those lucky silver pants !!! Epp is OUT and Logan is IN for another episode of: “I am so HOT I deserve to be here”.
